Junior Raiser
Our Junior Service Dogs in Training are beginning to explore more of the world, including public parks, pet stores, patios and road trips. If you’d like a small adventure buddy, raising a Junior SDIT may be an ideal fit for you. Juniors are 6 to 12 months of age, potty trained and have begun their Obedience training.
Adult Raiser
Our Adult Service Dogs in Training are enrolled in the last stage of their training and are looking for Foster families who are active in the community. Adult SDITs travel with you for school pick up, hockey games or even some workplaces to practice their skills before they are matched with their Fire Team Partner.
One on One Support
SDITs attend school in Pembroke with their Trainer and participate in a group training class once a week. Our staff can help provide logistical support for attending all appointments and are available for continuous support as needed. Our Foster families also enjoy group excursions, team events, and special events throughout the year.
