PETAWAWA, ON | Cyclists looking for opportunities to ride with others can explore the GearHeads Cycling Club, a Petawawa-based organization offering group activities throughout the Upper Ottawa Valley.
The club organizes rides for different experience levels, including road cycling, gravel riding, and mountain biking. Its activities bring together local residents who share an interest in cycling, whether they are experienced riders or relatively new to the sport.
GearHeads Cycling Club was recently featured by Ontario Cycling in September 2026, highlighting its community-based approach and opportunities for riders to participate in organized activities.
The club is associated with GearHeads, a Petawawa outdoor recreation business identified by the Town of Petawawa as military- or veteran-owned. The shop provides cycling equipment and services, along with equipment for skiing and other winter sports.
Residents interested in joining a ride can contact the club to learn about upcoming activities, membership requirements, and appropriate experience levels.
